Research and Development
The Research and Development department has carried on the innovative and
creative spirit of the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), the roots
of Coating Place and holder of the original Wurster coating patents.
Primary responsibilities involve client/project coordination,
research, and technical support of new and existing products. This
includes feasibility studies, formulation development, scale-up, technology
transfer, process validation, and related concerns of new and existing
projects.
State-of-the-art technology, innovative ideas, coating
experience dating continuously from the early 1970's, and a comprehensive
formulation and processing capability are employed to meet quantity and
quality needs, process concerns, and economic requirements of all projects.
