Ammonium Persulfate (APS) Anti-Caking (AC) is an uncoated viscosity modifier for use in hydraulic fracturing applications where immediate viscosity modification is acceptable. This product is a solid form of breaker, without delayed release encapsulation properties, that will not harden or set-up, but remain free flowing. APS-AC can be used in fracturing fluids up to 150°F.

APS-AC can be substituted for persulfate breakers currently used in non-delayed release applications. With any fracturing application, we recommend that break tests be conducted with the fluid formulations to determine the best possible concentrations.
